Conflict is the #1 Cause of Hunger in the world. Out of 820 million people facing hunger around the world, 60% live in countries affected by violence and conflict. Violence, war and persecution uproot families, destroy economies, and create an environment for extreme hunger, which in turn fuels more instability. It’s a man-made cycle that leaves families and children at risk of hunger, malnutrition and death every day.

#AtWarWithHunger uses storytelling to highlight the devastating impact of conflict on people around the world, and how World Food Programme (WFP), the world's largest humanitarian organization addressing hunger and promoting food security, is addressing it. WFP provides food assistance to an average of 91.4 million people in 83 countries each year.

In accompaniment with a microsite, I designed and animated additional campaign creative assets, including the animated explainer video below, Facebook ads, Instagram story ads, and digital display ads — encouraging our audiences to participate in the conversation, share content, and donate to fight hunger.
